This week’s update is a bit shorter, but we wanted to give you a small update on what has happened with our partner this week.
Electrical Engineering
Our electrical engineer is working on the PCB design so we can finalize the layout for the enclosure IO ports and finish up the enclosure design
Firmware & UI
On the software side, we discussed the overall design of the UI and how we want the user to be able to interact with the primary functions of the device. We also discussed options for users to easily customize the experience to allow for quick access to the tools they are most interested in.
Enclosure & Keyboard
The enclosure design is progressing as we balance usability with portability. A big focus right now is finding the right keyboard density. We want to keep the device pocket-friendly while still offering a comfortable typing experience.

Project Update – August 21

Enclosure Design Changes The design phase is now complete, and the enclosure is ready for mechanical engineering handoff. Key updates include: * Integrated keyboard – aligned on the same plane as the display for a cleaner look and improved usability.
