Interrupt Project Update 3-1-26
We’re excited to share that we’ve officially moved into the pre-production prototype phase for Interrupt. The PCB design has been sent to manufacturing, marking a major transition from design work into physical validation. This stage represents one of the most important milestones in hardware development, seeing the device come together exactly as it will exist in production. Alongside this, we’ve ordered dedicated RF test hardware so we can perform detailed validation and calibration of the radio systems once the prototypes arrive.
1. PCB
- PCB design has been sent to the PCB manufacturer.
- RF testing equipment ready for fine tuning RF antenna networks on the PCB.
- This prototype will be used for validation and testing.
2. Firmware
- The team is preparing for integration testing once the production prototype arrives.
- Firmware work will be completed using the production hardware.
3. Enclosure
- Enclosure prototypes have been ordered.
- These will allow design confirmation before locking production models.
Wrapping Up
- Pre-production prototype ordered!
- Enclosure prototypes ordered!
- Firmware GUI work continuing. Ready for prototype!
Once the pre-production prototypes are in hand, the team will begin system testing, with particular focus on validating and tuning the RF networks on the PCB to ensure reliable performance. This testing phase allows us to confirm signal integrity, calibration, and overall system stability before manufacturing begins. It’s an exciting moment because it brings us to another major checkpoint on our way to production, ensuring everything performs exactly as intended so we can confidently move Interrupt into manufacturing. Thank you again for your continued support as we take this major step forward.
